Blended in Newquay, Cornwall by the Real Rum Company, Bombo Caramel & Banana is a flavoured rum based drink combining the exotic flavours of banana, caramel and Caribbean rum. A seductively smooth drink which is very moreish. The recipe is inspired by one of the oldest mixed rum drinks in the world originating from an 18th century pirate recipe where rum was mixed with sugar and spices. It was also known as Bumboo or Bumbo. This was to help disguise the rather rough taste of the rums being produced back in those days, thankfully a problem we don't have to contend with in this century! Bombo Rum is available in a further more varieties; Bombo Caramel & Banana , Bombo Caramel & Spices and Bombo Caramel & Coconut at 24% ABV plus Bombo Full On Caramel & Spices and Bombo Full On Caramel & Coconut at 40% ABV.
