Maison Boutinot Celiane is a pale, dry and characterful rose from the shores of the Bassin de Thau in the Languedoc, Southern France . Crafted from Grenache Noir and Cinsault grown close to Lake Thau, this is a refreshing Mediterranean-style rose that balances bright red fruit with crisp, clean acidity. Why You'll Love It Celiane is a rose that delivers far more than its price suggests. Sourced from a unique coastal microclimate where the proximity of Lake Thau moderates the Mediterranean heat, the grapes retain a freshness and precision rarely found at this level. Pale in colour, dry in style, and genuinely food-friendly, this is the kind of house rose that earns a permanent place on the table. Vineyard and Production The grapes are sourced from vineyards cultivated near Lake Thau, set in a formerly volcanic region just inland from the sea. The moderating influence of the water allows optimal ripening while preserving fresh acidity. Grapes are harvested in the early morning to retain aromatics, then vinified as a classic rose de presse with soft pressing and cold fermentation to ensure delicacy and freshness. Tasting Notes Pale and bright in the glass, Celiane opens with fresh red fruit aromas of raspberry and redcurrant. On the palate, luscious currant flavours from the Grenache are lifted by tangy raspberry from the Cinsault, before a dry, clean and refreshing finish. Textural and food-driven, with excellent balance. Perfect Pairings A versatile food wine, ideal alongside pasta dishes, barbecued meats, grilled chicken salads, seafood platters, and light summer fare. Equally enjoyable on its own as a chilled aperitif. The Blend Grenache Noir 70%, Cinsault 30%.
