Drink it now or cellar for up to 20 years. No need to decant. Located in Berru, in the French wine region of Champagne, Maison Adam-Jaeger is a small family-run winery, founded in the 1990s and currently managed by Regis Adam. The Blanc de Blancs Millesimé is an exceptionally elegant wine produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes from the estate's vineyards. Here, the cool continental climate and typical limestone soils allow this varietal to thrive, creating wines of great quality. After a second fermentation in the bottle, the wine ages on the lees for 11 years. This long aging period results in a complex and structured wine with a unique, refined character. In the glass, the wine reveals a straw yellow color, enhanced by fine and persistent bubbles. Its aromatic profile is broad and mature, with delicious notes of fresh yellow and tropical fruit, floral and mineral hints, and a background of toasted almonds, bread crust, and brioche. On the palate, it is rich, round, and elegant, with a creamy mouthfeel and good fruit concentration. It is fresh and balanced, with a long finish that blends toasted and tropical fruit notes. Try it with Bresse chicken in cream sauce, lobster, tuna tartare, or baked Camembert with puff pastry.
