A light pink rosé with a fine mousse. The intriguing nose suggests aromas of raspberry, apples and citrus; the low dosage enables the fruit characters to come to the fore in this wine. The palate is crisp and flavourful, with ripe apple and raspberry flavours, followed by a long and savoury finish. This versatile sparkling wine goes well with a range of food but ideal for a celebration. Serve at 8 degrees. Grape variety: Reichensteiner, Huxulrebe, Kerner, Rondo, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Seyval Blanc Vinification: Each varietal was whole bunch pressed and fermented separately at a cool temperature to preserve the aromas. A small proportion of the red varietals used in the blend were macerated for a short period to extract a little colour. After blending, a tirage was added and the wine underwent secondary fermentation in bottle. Before being disgorged, this wine was aged on lees for over 18 months.
