A single cask production yielding only 264 bottles. Matured in American oak casks from 2004 to 2012 then shipped to the Dominican Republic in same cask and aged for a further 3 years. In 2016, shipped to the UK and refilled into the recycled rum oak casks in June 2017. The enticing, rich nut-brown colour almost hides the fact that this is a golden rum. Quickly however the golden rum characteristics shine through with delightful toffee notes on the pronounced nose that excites the senses for what is to follow on the palate. There is no disappointment, the mouth is coated with refined and soft flavours of treacle, vanilla and spiced all rounded off with subtle dark chocolate notes.
