Tenuta Ulisse Amaranta Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOP is a refined expression of Montepulciano, capturing the elegance and intensity of this classic Italian variety. The wine balances richness and structure, offering a harmonious experience from nose to finish. Winemaking The grapes are fermented and macerated in stainless steel tanks for 15–20 days at temperatures between 20° and 25°C. A portion of the wine is then aged in fine barriques, contributing additional complexity, depth, and subtle oak nuances. Tasting Notes The wine presents a ruby red colour with garnet reflections and an intense, persistent bouquet. Aromas reveal rich fruit complemented by dried flowers, spice, liquorice, and marasca cherry notes. On the palate, it is velvety and elegant, with a compact structure and well-integrated tannins that blend seamlessly with the alcohol.
