Half aged in French oak and made with real winemaking ambition, this is a Chardonnay that punches well above its price point. Vineyard & Production Sourced from the Les Colombiers single vineyard in Pays d'Oc, grown on mineral-rich volcanic soils under a Mediterranean climate. A portion of the wine undergoes thermovinification to extract vibrant fruit character, while another part sees short maceration to build texture. Around half of the wine is aged in French oak, adding subtle layers of toast and spice without overpowering the varietal expression. Tasting Notes Pale gold with green highlights. Inviting aromas of apricot, white peach and quince jelly, complemented by hints of fresh salted butter, vanilla and toasted brioche. Full-bodied and structured on the palate, with flavours of stone fruit, citrus zest and a touch of coffee and spice.
