Cellar for up to 5 years. Serve chilled. This stunning Cremant d’Alsace is made using the traditional method which is exactly the same winemaking technique used for Champagne. The wine is crafted from three traditional Alsace varietals, Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Gris which help to create a complex, multi-layered sparkling wine full of vibrancy and fragrance. In the glass there’s a delicate stream of bubbles accompanied by fragrant notes of white flowers, peaches and green apples. The first sip reveals a bright acidity, medium body and soft mousse from the bubbles along with enticing pear and apricot flavours which linger long on the tongue. This is an excellent sparkling wine to serve as an aperitif or alongside fresh seafood, leafy summer salads, or spicy Asian dishes. Domaine Allimant-Laugner was founded in 1965 following the marriage of Mariette Allimant and René Laugner which joined together two of Alsace’s top winemaking families. The estate is now in the capable hands of three generations of the Allimant-Launger family who strive to produce the best wines possible while preserving their land in top condition for generations to come. The family work 12 hectares of prime vineyards planted on a mixture of limestone, granite and clay soils.
