Blending fruit from five distinct vineyards across DO Empðordà, from slate slopes to sandy plains and gravel, this is a wine of genuine complexity, personality, and a long, elegant finish. Vineyard & Production Sourced from five vineyards between 40 and 150 metres above sea level, with an average vine age of 21 years. Soils range from slate and gravel to sandy plains and fluvial sediment, each contributing distinct flavours and aromatics. The wine is made with extended maceration and controlled fermentation at 24°C, then matured in a combination of American and Allier French oak before at least two years of bottle ageing prior to release. Tasting Notes Deep cherry-red in colour. Aromas of red fruits and spice on the nose, with balsamic hints and a subtle toasted background. The palate is fresh, well-structured, and balanced, with plentiful yet harmonious tannins and a long, elegant finish. A wine of great personality.
