Produttori di Manduria Alice Verdeca is a compelling white wine from the heel of Italy — a region far better known for its Primitivo reds. Made from 100% Verdeca, a native white varietal grown on old bush vines, this is a wine of real aromatic intensity, vibrant freshness, and a distinctly Mediterranean character that sets it apart from the crowd. Unoaked and fermented at low temperatures to lock in freshness and aromatics, Alice is the kind of white wine that makes you sit up and take notice. A SWA 2025 Bronze medal winner. Vineyard & Production Sourced from 15–20-year-old espalier-trained vines harvested at the end of August. Fermentation takes place off the skins under controlled temperatures (15°C), followed by ageing in stainless steel to preserve the wine's aromatic intensity, minerality, and natural freshness before bottling. Tasting Notes Delicate aromas of hawthorn and acacia on the nose, with notes of cedar, yellow grapefruit, and subtle mineral and saline nuances. The palate is fresh, savoury, and beautifully balanced, finishing with citrusy brightness and lingering floral notes. Perfect Pairings A natural match for seafood and light Mediterranean dishes.
