All fruit is sourced solely from Franschhoek, hand-harvested, naturally fermented, and matured in the farm's mountain barrel hall. Vineyard & Production The 2022 vintage is a blend of approximately 90% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Franc, with each parcel hand-picked from Franschhoek Valley vineyards. Whole clusters underwent carbonic maceration without pressing, with fermentation progressing naturally and just a single daily manual punchdown to gently encourage extraction. The wine was then aged for 12 months in 600-litre French oak barrels, allowing it to develop complexity and texture while preserving its natural freshness and aromatic purity. Tasting Notes Warm and aromatic on the nose, with lifted notes of crushed raspberries, black cherry, black pepper, allspice, and a touch of woodsmoke.
