Coquille de Fleur Rosé is a vibrant, fruit-forward rosé from Languedoc-Roussillon, France, made from 100% Cinsault grapes. This soft and aromatic wine captures the essence of southern French summer, with lively freshness and balanced minerality. Crafted by pioneering winemaker Marilyn Lasserre, who has played a key role in revitalising Languedoc's wines since returning to France in 2008, this rosé showcases elegance, expressiveness, and regional authenticity. Why You'll Love It This is pure Cinsault from Languedoc, showcasing the variety's delicate, aromatic character. Marilyn Lasserre's meticulous approach - night harvesting to preserve freshness, careful pressing to select only the finest juices, and extended ageing on fine lees for at least five months - creates a rosé with exceptional texture, aroma, and complexity. The result is a wine that's both lively and soft, with beautiful balance and a mineral finish that reflects its terroir. This is southern French rosé with finesse and character, perfect for warm weather drinking and versatile food pairing. Region & Winemaking Produced by Marilyn Lasserre in Languedoc-Roussillon, France. Made from 100% Cinsault grapes harvested at night to preserve freshness and avoid oxidation. Carefully pressed with only the finest juices selected. After a 24-hour settling period, the clear juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks at 13-15°C for 15 days. The wine then ages on its fine lees for at least five months to enhance texture, aroma, and complexity before bottling. Tasting Notes Pale and delicate in colour. The nose reveals wild raspberry and candied strawberry aromas. On the palate, the wine is lively, soft, and well-balanced, with a mineral finish that echoes its terroir. Food Pairing Pairs beautifully with chicken noodle salad, pesto and Parmigiano pasta, or baked salmon with chorizo rice. Also excellent with Mediterranean cuisine, grilled seafood, and light summer dishes. Serve chilled at 8-10°C. Grape Variety Cinsault
