Meet the producer Widely regarded as one of the best co-operatives in the world, Cave de Turckheim sits at the mouth of the Munster Valley, dedicated to crafting wines of precision, balance, and regional expression. Production Grapes are sourced from the Grand Cru Brand vineyard, planted on dry granite soils with a southerly aspect providing high levels of sunshine. Only Riesling, Muscat d’Alsace, Pinot Gris, and Gewurztraminer are permitted in these exceptional plots. Winemaker Jean Michel Lihrmann employs traditional methods: pneumatic pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation, minimal filtration, and no finings, preserving the wine’s fruit, aromatic complexity, and vibrant acidity.
