Château Saint-Pierre Saint-Julien is a prestigious Bordeaux wine from the Saint-Julien appellation, recognised for its classic Médoc elegance and balance. It expresses a refined combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, showcasing both power and finesse typical of this renowned terroir. Meet the producer Château Saint-Pierre is a historic estate in the Saint-Julien appellation, producing wines that combine traditional Bordeaux winemaking with modern precision. The estate focuses on crafting wines of elegance, structure, and ageing potential, reflecting the classic Médoc character. Production Grapes are hand-harvested and sorted carefully. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with gentle extraction to preserve the fruit and structure. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels, around 50% new, for approximately 16–18 months, resulting in a wine with depth, complexity, and refined tannins. Tasting notes Deep ruby-red in colour, with aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, cedar, and subtle graphite notes. The palate is full-bodied and structured, featuring fine, silky tannins, a rich core of ripe dark fruits, hints of spice and tobacco, and a long, persistent finish that reflects its Saint-Julien heritage. Food match Perfect with roast lamb, grilled beef, game dishes, or mature cheeses. Grape Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc ABV 13.5–14% Style Full-bodied, elegant, and structured Awards and Press Comments Wine Spectator: 93 points – “Château Saint-Pierre shows a harmonious balance of ripe fruit and polished tannins, with excellent aging potential.” Decanter: Highly recommended – “Classic Saint-Julien finesse, with depth and elegance, offering both immediate pleasure and long-term ageing potential.”
