This elegant blend of 55% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, and 10% Pinot Meunier marks a significant milestone in English sparkling wine, combining French winemaking heritage with the unique terroir of Kent's countryside. Vineyard & Production Sourced from Domaine Evremond's 60-hectare estate in Chilham, Kent, planted on chalky soils similar to Champagne. The base wine comes predominantly from the 2020 vintage (80%), complemented by reserve wines from 2019 (20%). The wine was blended and bottled in spring 2021, then aged gracefully on lees for over three years before disgorgement in August 2024. Future editions will feature a gradually increasing share of Chardonnay as new vineyard plots reach optimal maturity. Tasting Notes Elegant and refined with fine, persistent bubbles.
