Fernando de Castilla Vermut Red is a magnificent revival of Jerez's lost vermut tradition — a rich, complex and deeply characterful aperitivo crafted from Palomino and Pedro Ximenez grapes, aged for eight years in barrel and infused with 27 carefully selected botanicals. Aged far longer than most — eight years in barrel — and blended with 27 botanicals, this is a vermut of extraordinary depth and complexity that rewards those who appreciate the real thing. Production Palomino (70%) and Pedro Ximenez (30%) grapes are pressed and fermented in stainless steel before being aged in barrel for around eight years, developing remarkable richness and concentration.
