The Fettercairn range has been expanding steadily in recent years, with an emphasis on various age statements, much to the delight of its enthusiasts. This particular expression highlights the distillery's fruit-forward character, showcasing abundant notes of mango, apple, and cherry, complemented by layers of vanilla, oak, and crushed spices. The nose reveals aromas of dried fruit and fresh green apples, buttered teacakes, cedar, and a hint of hay. On the palate, one can discern cherry, gingerbread, orange peels, the juiciness of pineapple and mango, soft earthy spices, and an additional hint of cedar. The finish is marked by lingering fruity coffee and honey notes.
