This Highland single malt Scotch whisky, devoid of any peat presence, utilises air-dried barley during its kilning process. On the nose, one can detect hints of candied lemon intertwined with nuances of butterscotch. The palate reveals creamy cereal sweetness paired with dried fruits and Demerara sugar, characterised by an oily, rich entry featuring toffee popcorn, salted butter, and subtle notes of ground walnuts, allspice, lemon rinds, and baked apple. The finish is oaky and malty.
