Meet the Producer Royal Tokaji focuses on producing traditional wines that showcase the unique terroir and centuries-old winemaking heritage of Hungary's Tokaj region. The estate combines careful vineyard selection with meticulous cellar techniques to achieve wines of exceptional balance and finesse, honouring both Aszú and Szamorodni styles. Production The 2019 vintage began with a cool spring followed by a hot summer, often exceeding 35°C with occasional showers, accelerating grape maturation. A generous portion of Aszú berries was included in the blend, resulting in outstanding richness and complexity. The Furmint and Hárslevelű grapes were harvested in early November, pressed, and fermented in tanks. The wine then matured for nearly two years in barrels, developing its characteristic depth, structure, and aromatic complexity. Tasting Notes Golden in colour, it offers expressive aromas of plums, apricots, honey, and spice. The palate is full and luscious, enriched by hints of hone
