Taylor’s Chip Dry is a pioneering dry white aperitif Port, made predominantly from the Malvasia Fina grape alongside other traditional white varieties. The wine is crafted using the classic Port vinification method, with brandy added later in fermentation to preserve a crisp, dry finish while maintaining subtle fruit sweetness. Each component is matured separately in oak vats for four to five years before careful blending to create balance, elegance, and complexity. Production The wine undergoes partial fermentation before fortification, preserving freshness while achieving its signature dry character. After 4–5 years in oak vats, the individual wines are blended to harmonise fruit, acidity, and subtle oak influence.
