1086 Rosé By Nyetimber Prestige Cuvée 2013
Wild strawberry, red apple and floral aromas with Chantilly cream and hints of freshly baked brioche. Intense and opulent, it's the ideal match for dishes such as duck breast, steak tartare or lobster.
CHASSAGNE MONTRACHET Marquis de Laguiche 1er Cru Morgeot Joseph Drouhin 2019
(from Le Grand Clos and Vignes Blanches). Notes of petrol and rosemary oil add breadth to the ripe and softly exotic white peach scents. There is good verve to the relatively refined medium-bodied flavors that flash terrific persistence on the balanced finale. This will need to develop better depth to achieve the upper end of my projected range, but it appears to have the potential to do just that.
