Ad Hoc Nitty Gritty Pinot Grigio 2025

Ad Hoc Nitty Gritty is a crisp, cool-climate Pinot Grigio from Pemberton in Western Australia, one of the country's most exciting cool-climate wine regions. Fresh, aromatic, and beautifully precise, it delivers classic Pinot Grigio character with a distinctly Australian sense of purity and drinkability. A standout white wine from our Australian Wines collection. Why You'll Love It Pemberton sits in the far south-west of Western Australia, where the cool maritime climate and ancient karri forest soils produce white wines of exceptional freshness and precision. Ad Hoc is the approachable, everyday label from Woodlands Wines, and Nitty Gritty is a textbook example of what cool-climate Pinot Grigio can achieve in Australia: lifted aromatics, crunchy acidity, and a long, precise finish that makes it endlessly food-friendly and genuinely hard to put down. Vineyard & Production Sourced from Pemberton in Western Australia, where the cool climate and well-drained soils produce grapes of natural freshness and aromatic intensity. The wine is crafted to preserve the variety's delicate fruit character and bright acidity, with a clean, precise winemaking approach that lets the cool-climate terroir speak clearly. Tasting Notes Pale straw in colour with a faint green hue. The nose is lifted and aromatic with pear, red apple, and lime zest, complemented by subtle notes of white blossom, honeysuckle, and a touch of musk. On the palate, it is fresh and lively with flavours of pear, green apple, and citrus, a fine mineral thread, and hints of dried herbs. Light-bodied yet textural, with crunchy acidity and a long, precise finish with lingering citrus, pear skin, and a subtle saline edge. Perfect Pairings Perfect with seafood, oysters, prawns, and fresh salads. Also excellent alongside light pasta, Asian dishes, goat's cheese, and grilled fish. The Blend 100% Pinot Grigio

Wakefield Jaraman Chardonnay 2022

' The Taylor family of Wakefield Wines have been crafting fine Australian wine for five decades and over three generations. They are proud members of Australia's First Families of Wine - an organistion that has a combined 1,250 years of unrivalled heritage and iconic wines from families that have shaped Australia's winemaking history. When the Taylor family established their wine business back in 1969, they decided to create a proper 'old world' style estate in the Clare Valley. That's where the name 'Estate' comes from. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz were the very first wines released and are the heart and soul of the business. In the language of wine, an estate means that the vineyards and winery are in the same location. The inspiration for this came from the great producers of Bordeaux and in particular Chateau Mouton Rothschild who famously were the first to also bottle their wines on the estate. This approach of having ultimate control over the vineyards, winery and even bottling of the wines appealed to the Taylor family. These days the wines are still crafted and bottled on the estate although not all of the fruit is grown there. This is mainly because of the popularity of the wines, but occasionally fruit from other areas is of a higher quality, as is the case for the Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. It's this commitment to the way our wines are crafted that has earned the Taylors an enviable reputation and contributed to their continued success. Wakefield Wines have consistently won awards around the world for the quality of the wines for almost half a century. Region belnd: Adelaide Hills (58%) Clare Valley (42%) Jaraman Chardonnay 2022 oak maturation: American oak was employed for its ability to deliver robust characters. After maturing in oak for a period of 10 months, the wine was blended, filtered and bottled. Cellaring notes: Crafted for immediate enjoyment but will cellar over a medium term under ideal conditions. '
