Aerstone Land Cask is one of two bottles released by William Grant & Sons with single malt whisky sourced from Ailsa Bay Distillery. This 10 year old Land Cask is the richer and smoky option of the two. With a rich aroma of grass, marzipan and peat. The palate shows a different side, one that is rich, sweet and like carrot cake. A great 10 year old dram for the money!

The combination of these two cask types creates a whisky that is sweet and spicy, floral and fruity, with a complexity that makes it far more interesting than its gentle 40% ABV might suggest.
