Aix Rose Coteaux D'Aix en Provence 2025

AIX Rose is one of the benchmark expressions of Provence Rose , crafted by Maison Saint Aix from 75 hectares of vineyards nestled in the rolling hills northeast of Aix-en-Provence. At 420 metres above sea level, among the highest vineyards in the appellation, the estate produces a rose of genuine elegance, vibrancy, and generosity. Why You'll Love It AIX Rose has become a benchmark for Provence rose not by accident but by design. Maison Saint Aix, established in 2009, draws on some of the region's most celebrated terroir, including 50 to 60-year-old Grenache vines that provide concentrated, high-quality juice, balanced by the freshness of younger plantings. The result is a wine born from generosity and celebration, designed for sharing, and admired as much for its quality as for its striking large-format bottles. Vineyard and Production The vineyards sit on predominantly stony clay-limestone, sandy, and gravelly soils on the terraces of the Arc and the Durance. Hot days, cool nights, and regular Mistral winds create ideal conditions for Grenache, Syrah , and Cinsault to ripen slowly and evenly. The estate maintains a replanting programme of up to four hectares per year, ensuring a consistent balance between the character of its oldest vines and the freshness of younger ones. Tasting Notes Pale and luminous in the glass, with a nose of fresh strawberry, white peach, and delicate floral notes. The palate is crisp and elegant, with bright acidity, a silky texture, and a clean, refreshing finish that is quintessentially Provencal. Perfect Pairings Wonderful as an aperitif, and equally at home alongside grilled fish, light salads, soft cheeses, and Mediterranean sharing plates. Grape Varieties Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault
