This Japanese Single Malt has been aged exclusively in sherry casks for 5 years, neither chill-filtered nor coloured. The nose is intense with white fruits and vanilla. The palate is rich and silky with dried fruits and almond nuances. Awarded Silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition.
Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve Japanese Blended Whisky
Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is distinctive and elegant, made from a variety of single malts that have been blended and finished in wine casks made from French oak. This cask type adds a floral and slightly nutty character to the liquid with a sustained fruit character. This is rich with notes of red berries and forest fruits along with candied citrus an white flowers. There is a slight peppery character on the palate with dark chocolate, ginger and red apple before a long and sustained oak spice finish.
