Ambriel, English Reserve Demi-Sec, MV

With a touch of residual sugar and a whole lot of charm, this is a fizz that’s generous without being heavy. You'll find baked apple, pear tart, a little honeyed lemon wrapped up in a soft mousse and carried by a gentle, refreshing acidity. There’s a lovely creaminess too, thanks to extended lees ageing, giving it richness and depth. Perfect for pairing with lightly spiced dishes, fruit-based desserts, or just enjoyed as a celebration in a glass. Sparkling wine doesn’t always have to play it dry to be seriously sophisticated. This multi-vintage blend comes from the West Sussex-based Ambriel estate, where precise winemaking and a sense of fun go hand in hand.

Gremillet Brut Selection Champagne

Champagne Gremillet Brut Ambassadeur NV is the flagship cuvee of the Gremillet estate, a family-owned domaine managing over 40 hectares in the southern Champagne region near Troyes. Pinot Noir-driven, generous, and finely balanced, this is a Champagne that delivers on all fronts, equally suited to celebration or refined dining. Why You'll Love It The Gremillet family have been crafting Champagne since 1979, and their Brut Ambassadeur is the clearest expression of their philosophy: richness and elegance in equal measure. Their vineyards in the Aube enjoy warmer conditions than the northern Champagne districts, achieving excellent ripeness and fruit concentration that gives this wine its distinctive generosity. It is no coincidence that Gremillet Champagnes are now served in French embassies worldwide. Vineyard and Production Only the first and finest pressings are used. After primary fermentation, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation slowly in bottle and is matured on its lees for a minimum of 22 months, allowing complex brioche and toasty notes to develop fully before disgorgement and release. Tasting Notes Fresh floral aromas are layered with sweet brioche and peach skin, supported by baked biscuit complexity. The palate is rich yet finely poised, with bright citrus acidity carrying through to a crisp, elegant finish. Perfect Pairings Perfect as an aperitif served well chilled, or as a versatile partner to light nibbles, fresh salads, and simple fish dishes. Grape Varieties Pinot Noir , Chardonnay
