Amrut Marudham is a remarkable single malt whisky from India, crafted by the pioneering Amrut Distilleries. This expression pays homage to the rich cultural and geographical diversity of the Indian subcontinent, with “Marudham” symbolising fertile lands and abundance. Distilled from select Indian barley and matured under the unique climatic conditions of Bangalore, Amrut Marudham reveals a vibrant and layered profile. The nose opens with delicate floral notes and hints of tropical fruit, followed by subtle spice and toasted oak. On the palate, it delivers a harmonious blend of honeyed sweetness, gentle peat smoke, and warming spice, culminating in a smooth, lingering finish.
Filey Bay Sherry Cask Reserve #4 Single Malt Whisky
The big sherry bomb from The Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery, a rich and complex whisky that has notes of black treacle, cranberry, cocoa and cola sweets. This is the 4th annual release of this Sherry Cask Reserve, Whisky Director Joe has married together three types of casks from the warehouse. Ex-Moscatel brings the floral notes, ex-Oloroso brings the nutty complexity and the ex-PX Sherry rounds it off with a rich sweetness.
