Ancora Pinot Grigio Rosé is a delicately tinted rosé from the Provincia di Pavia in Italy , crafted from a blend of Pinot Grigio, Pinot Nero , and Barbera. Light, fresh, and fruity, it combines the elegance of Pinot Grigio with the colour and character of the red varieties, resulting in a vibrant, approachable wine that is perfect for warm-weather drinking. Ancora Pinot Grigio Rosé is one of the most consistently enjoyable wines in the range, delivering real freshness and fruit character at an outstanding everyday price. Vineyard & Production Grapes are grown on mature hillside vineyards in Pavia, south of Milan. The ripest Pinot Grigio grapes are selected to develop a natural pink hue, complemented by a small proportion of Barbera and Pinot Nero. Harvested in early September, the grapes are crushed and left on the skins for 12 hours at low temperature before gentle pressing. Fermentation occurs slowly in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and the wine is bottled young to preserve its freshness and aromatics. Tasting Notes Pale coral pink in the glass.
