From Santa Barbara County, this super Viognier delivers fresh, intensely aromatic whaffs of tangerine, white flowers and passion fruit. The palate is creamy almost oily in texture, with luscious peach and apricot notes coming to the fore. Delicious!
Cahors, Pur Plaisir, Malbec, Château Haut-Monplaisir (organic) 2020
Blackcurrants and blackberries on the nose lead to a superbly balanced palate with concentrated black fruits with hints of eucalyptus and cocao and really good underlying freshness. Aged in 500 ltire oak barrels for 3 years to give round, soft tannins.
