Angostura 1824 Rum
Angostura 1824, a rum of fine distinction and a symbol of superb quality and success, celebrates the legacy of the Company which was founded in 1824 by Dr. Johann G.B. Siegert, creator of the world’s finest bitters – Angostura aromatic bitters. Exquisitely smooth and delightfully aromatic, Angostura 1824 is blended from the finest mature rums, hand-picked by our Master Blender from selected casks. It is aged in charred American oak bourbon barrels and then skillfully hand-blended and recasked. A rum of distinction and complexity, for the discerning connoisseur who enjoys the taste of history. The nose is a rich bouquet of sweet molasses, cocoa and toffee with top notes of tropical fruit. The palate is well-rounded, a medium-bodied palate with hints of chocolate, orange, spices and fruity nuances.
Goslings Spirited Seas Ocean Aged Rum
Spirited Seas is a blend of premium dark rums finished at sea (eighty Atlantic crossings)! Out of the turbulent Atlantic Ocean comes Goslings Spirited Seas Rum. Hand selected ex bourbon barrels are filled with their superior rum from Bermuda and then loaded onto the M.V. Oleander, for a special year at sea to age. Traveling back and forth from Bermuda to the mid Atlantic, where the wild storms of the Gull Stream can magically appear. The result of its time at sea in these charred American white oak casks is an exquisitely elegant and complex rum with a lively, oaky nose. Hints of salted caramel and luscious spice wash over the palate to a clean and lingering finish.
