Annandale Man O' Words Founders Selection Bourbon Cask #389 60.2%
Cask 389 from Annandale from 2015 has been matured in an ex bourbon cask creating a light golden hue single malt whisky. Aromas are beautifully sweet on the nose with notes of cream soda, pear drops, fresh green apples. The palate has wonderful bursts of tropical fruits including mango, pineapple and cool fresh melon that leads to a lingering note of vanilla and creamy caramel. The Man O' Words range is dedicated to Robert Burns, Scotland's favourite Poet, exciseman to the Annan area in his later years with ties to Dumfries / The Globe Inn, Co-Owner David's favourite pub in his rugby days. Man O' Words is the name sake of the unpeated expressions.
