Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 Year Old Batch 5 Islay Single Malt

This 5th batch of Ardbeg's Traigh Bhan (pronounced tri-van) is a small batch release that has been bottled in humidity and named after the beautiful beach known locally as the Singing Sands. Perfumed aromas of luscious tropical fruit flow on the breeze, while curious notes of herbal incense and smoke follow closely behind. The palate has a creamy mouthfeel that leads the way into a crashing symphony of herbal spicy flavours. Smoked maple cured bacon, charcoal and white pepper with a touch of cloves will wrap you up in a dream state.

GlenDronach 21 Year Old Parliament Single Malt

GlenDronach Parliament 21 Year Old is a standout expression from one of Scotland’s most revered distilleries, nestled in the valley of Forgue in the East Highlands. This single malt is matured for twenty-one years in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, resulting in a deeply complex and indulgent whisky. It offers a bold yet refined character that appeals to seasoned whisky enthusiasts and collectors alike. The name “Parliament” refers not to politics, but to the colony of rooks that have nested in the trees surrounding the GlenDronach distillery for nearly two centuries—a nod to the distillery’s heritage and natural setting. On the nose, it opens with aromas of dark rum-soaked stone fruits such as plums, peaches, and apricots, layered with sweet sherry richness and hints of white pepper, Brazil nuts, and polished oak. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, delivering flavours of rich fruitcake, dark chocolate, and roasted coffee beans, balanced by warming spices and a touch of walnut. The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering notes of dried fruit, spice, and elegant tannins. This 21-year-old single malt is a celebration of GlenDronach’s mastery of sherry cask ageing, offering a luxurious and memorable tasting experience for those who appreciate depth, tradition, and Highland character.
