Arran 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky
The Arran 10 needs no introduction for how this single bottle captures the essence of the Island, but it has been now released in this new presentation that is going to be carried forward from Autumn 2019. With an appearance of ripe golden barley and a bouquet that starts off with a rush of rich vanilla that gives way to cinnamon for a touch of spice. To the palate it is sweet apple and citrus notes with a cinnamon touch. BenRiach The Twelve is a richly layered Speyside single malt, triple cask matured for a minimum of twelve years in sherry casks, bourbon barrels, and port casks. The whisky from each cask is expertly married together by Master Blender Rachel Barrie to create a smooth, sherry-rich expression of genuine depth and complexity, layered with baked fruit, maple honey, and cocoa, and finished with a lingering sultana and spiced mocha warmth. The Twelve is triple cask matured for a minimum of twelve years in three distinct cask types: sherry casks, bourbon barrels, and port casks. Each parcel of whisky develops its own character during maturation before being expertly married together by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, creating a whisky of layered complexity that is greater than the sum of its parts. Tasting Notes The appearance is a warm golden bronze. The nose is full of rich maple honey, cocoa, and baked forest fruit.
