Glenfarclas 10 Year Old
Glenfarclas 10 Year Old is a classic Highland single malt celebrated for its gentle richness, clean structure and traditional sherry‑cask character. It’s crafted by one of Scotland’s few remaining family‑owned distilleries, known for producing whisky with depth, warmth and an unmistakably old‑school charm. This expression is approachable yet full of personality, making it ideal for both newcomers and long‑time whisky fans. The nose opens with soft orchard fruit, honey and a touch of malt sweetness, followed by hints of vanilla and light sherry. On the palate it is smooth and delicately rounded, showing flavours of green apple, pear, toffee and subtle spice, with a whisper of nuttiness from the sherry wood. The finish is clean, gently warming and lightly oaked, leaving notes of malt, dried fruit and a touch of sweetness that lingers pleasantly.
