Astoria, Velere Prosecco Rosé Millesimato Extra Dry NV
This rosé Prosecco is a great example of Astoria’s bright, fruit-led style, with plenty of fresh red berry character on both the nose and palate. Pale pink in the glass with a fine, lively mousse, it shows notes of strawberry and raspberry alongside a light floral touch. The palate is fresh and well balanced, with crisp acidity keeping it lifted and just a hint of sweetness on the finish. An easy, refreshing pink fizz that’s very hard not to like.
Domaine de Tholomies Cremant de Limoux Brut
Domaine de Tholomies Cremant de Limoux Brut is an elegant, traditionally made sparkling wine from Limoux in southern France, one of the oldest sparkling wine appellations in the world. Crafted from Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, and Mauzac, it delivers finesse, freshness, and delicate bubbles at a genuinely compelling price. Why You'll Love It Limoux has been producing sparkling wine since the 16th century, predating Champagne by over a century, and Domaine de Tholomies is one of its finest ambassadors. Focused on sustainable viticulture and precise winemaking, the domaine produces wines that are pure, consistent, and expressive of their terroir. This Cremant offers real sophistication without the Champagne price tag, making it one of the best-value traditional method sparklings available. Vineyard & Production Grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed before primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks. A secondary fermentation in the bottle creates the fine, persistent mousse, and the wine is then aged on its lees to develop added complexity, a creamy texture, and a subtle brioche character. The result is a sparkling wine of genuine elegance and depth. Tasting Notes Pale golden in colour with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is fresh and inviting, with white flowers, citrus, and green apple alongside subtle hints of toast. On the palate, crisp and refreshing with vibrant acidity, elegant bubbles, and a clean, lingering finish. Serve well chilled at 6 to 8 degrees. Perfect Pairings An excellent aperitif and a versatile food wine. Pairs beautifully with seafood, sushi, light salads, smoked fish, and soft cheeses. Also a natural match for grilled scallops or a simple dressed crab. The Blend Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, and Mauzac
