Atlantic Distillery Gorsedh Cornish Organic Gin
Jynevra and Gorsedh, which is Cornish for gin and Gorsedh is the name of the Cornish organisation responsible for the spiritual well being of the county , are a pair of 46% ABV hand crafted gins made from organic botanicals of which a great many are grown at the distillery or foraged from the wilds of Cornwall from coast to moor. The gins are blended with the distillery's own hand drawn water and distilled slowly in a bain marie still called Guinevere, so named after the famous character from Arthurian legend. Gorsedh has been distilled using gorse flowers from an organic farm high on Bodmin Moor. This delivers a golden floral note on the nose with a hint of coconut and lime on the palate with a gentle, yet sustained, finish. Serve with lime peel strips, ice and Fever Tree Tonic.
Lind & Lime Gin
Lind & Lime Gin is the first spirit to be produced by The Port Leith Distillery Co at their Tower Street Stillhouse. They are hoping to venture into distilling whisky in the near future, so they have thrown all their energy into creating a fantastic gin forged entirely from the talent, heritage and industry of Edinburgh and its historic distilling district of Leith. The dominant botanicals are Juniper, Lime and Pink Peppercorns. juniper is the core of any gin and they wanted some zest which has been extracted from the rind of the lime and to balance it needed some spice and pink peppercorn was added. A great trio of botanicals that make for a great classic gin.
