It opens with a fresh, almost meadow‑like sweetness—think wildflowers, soft honey and crisp orchard fruit—wrapped in a gentle malty warmth. There’s a touch of lemon peel and vanilla in the background, giving it a lifted, aromatic edge. On the palate the whisky bursts with energy. The high strength carries flavours of pear, apple compote, barley sugar and creamy toffee, followed by a lively mix of spice and citrus that keeps everything bright and focused. Meikle Toir The Sherry One Single Malt Whisky

The Sherry One has been expertly matured in quality pedro ximenez and oloroso sherry puncheons, the casks have imparted rich, fruity notes that mingle harmoniously with warming wisps of peat smoke and to 35PPM after a lengthy 160 hour fermentation. Aromas of cedar wood and cigar box, alongside butterscotch, mocha and orange peel, with hints of honey and plum jam. The palate has rich dark chocolate, smoked honey and mocha, followed by fig syrup, treacle and burnt sugar with puffs of peat smoke on the finish.
