It opens with a fresh, almost meadow‑like sweetness—think wildflowers, soft honey and crisp orchard fruit—wrapped in a gentle malty warmth. Meikle Toir The Sherry One Single Malt Whisky
The Sherry One has been expertly matured in quality pedro ximenez and oloroso sherry puncheons, the casks have imparted rich, fruity notes that mingle harmoniously with warming wisps of peat smoke and to 35PPM after a lengthy 160 hour fermentation. Aromas of cedar wood and cigar box, alongside butterscotch, mocha and orange peel, with hints of honey and plum jam. The palate has rich dark chocolate, smoked honey and mocha, followed by fig syrup, treacle and burnt sugar with puffs of peat smoke on the finish.
