Aval Dor Cornish Vodka

Aval Dor Vodka, distilled in Cornwall from potatoes grown on a family farm near Lostwithiel, has been awarded Double Gold at the coveted San Francisco World Spirits Competition, an accolade less than 1% of distilleries throughout the world can lay claim to. Unique vodka made from Cornish potatoes grown on a family farm in par. Distilled in a small copper pot still and then blended with spring water drawn from beneath the farm. The result is a creamy smooth luxurious vodka which is can be drunk neat, on the rocks or in your favourite cocktails. Colwith Farm is a 200 acre family owned farm located between Lostwithiel and Fowey in Cornwall, purchased by Stafford Dustow in 1904. In 2014 Stafford’s great, great grandson Steve began developing Cornwall’s first potato vodka, Aval Dor using Colwith Farm King Edward potatoes. In 2015 he started producing Stafford’s Gin derived from this potato vodka along with botanicals foraged on the farm. Construction began on Colwith Farm Distillery in 2017, which opened its doors to the public in Summer 2018. This is Cornwall's first single estate distillery.
