Beaune 'Les Blanches Fleurs', Domaine Tollot-Beaut 2019

Lying just to the north of the Beaune Premier Cru of Clos Du Roi, Domaine Tollot-Beaut's Les Blanches Fleurs is one of the classiest Beaune wines you're liable to find, despite not being a Premier Cru vineyard. It's generous, well fruited and with the typical Tollot-Beaut touch that just exudes class.

Nuits-Saint-Georges, Les Chaliots, Pierre Meurgey 2021

Pierre Meurgey is a fourth generation winemaker now bottling some incredibly wines under his own name. His Les Chaliots is medium to full-bodied, with a silky texture and finely integrated tannins. Flavours of ripe red and dark fruits are complemented by hints of licorice, forest floor, and a touch of minerality. The wine finishes with length and persistence, balancing richness with fresh acidity. Ideal with classic French dishes such as coq au vin, beef bourguignon, or duck confit. It also pairs well with game meats, roasted root vegetables, or hard cheeses like Comté or aged Gruyère.
