Beaune Les Bons Feuvres, Domaine Pascal Prunier-Bonheur 2017

This openly fruity Beaune is a generous but not overblown wine that is a great food partner to while away a good lunch or dinner with. It has generous red berry and bone bone anglais aromas, a medium to full body with a silky palate. The tannins are evident but unobtrusive. As usual at this domaine it's a great glass of wine. The fifth generation of a wine-growing family, Pascal Prunier-Bonheur took over the estate in 1983; it now operates 6 hectares of vines spread across Saint-Romain in Beaune through to Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie, Meursault and Pommard.

Château Malartic Lagravière 2020

This wine is offered in its own wooden case of 12. Château Malartic-Lagravière is situated on a high terrace that has been deeply etched by the Eau Blanche stream and its tributaries. It sits on 8-meter-deep deposits of gravelly soil dating from the Quaternary period. The evocative name of ‘Lagravière’ underlines the great quality manifest in the soils of this vineyard, reputed for its location on the finest gravel hillock in Léognan. The freshness and the balance of this vintage combine with the brilliance of the fruit and velvety texture, with a ample yet complex tannic structure, reflecting the true signature of Malartic’s terroir.
