Bird In Hand Sparkling Pinot Noir 2024

Bird in Hand Sparkling Rosé is a delicate and elegant Australian sparkling wine, predominantly crafted from Pinot Noir grapes. This pale pink wine is aromatic and refreshing, offering soft red berry fruits and citrus blossom on the nose, with a lively, textured palate and a fine, persistent bead. Well-balanced dosage ensures a refreshing acidity and a clean, satisfying finish. Vineyard & Terroir Sourced from premium South Australian vineyards selected for their intense aromatics and flavour concentration, the grapes are grown in conditions that enhance finesse and elegance in the finished wine. Winemaking The grapes are gently crushed and destemmed directly to press, with minimal skin contact to achieve a light, delicate colour. Fermentation is carried out in cool, temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by 4–6 weeks on fine lees to enhance texture. Individual vineyard batches are kept separate until blending, allowing the winemaker to select only the best fruit for flavour, complexity, and balance. Malolactic fermentation is employed to provide subtle creaminess and mouthfeel. Tasting Notes Pale pink in colour, Bird in Hand Sparkling Rosé reveals aromas of red berries and citrus blossom. The palate is lively and refreshing, with fine bubbles, well-integrated dosage, and a crisp, clean finish. Food Pairing Perfect as an aperitif or paired with fresh seafood, salads, light canapés, and soft cheeses. Technical Information Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
