Blason de l’Évangile 2020
Made from the same vats as the Grand Vin of Lafite Rothschild’s Château l’Évangile, and aged for 15 months in two-year-old barrels, which gives great fruit intensity. It’s mostly Merlot with some Cabernet Franc adding complexity.
Chambolle-Musigny, Domaine Taupenot-Merme 2021
Last year Neal Martin said “ Duroché’s style of wine is very much in the mold of… Romain Taupenot in Morey-Saint-Denis" and that the latter is now “ one of the most reliable and exciting estates ” and we wholeheartedly concur.
