Boccantino Fiano Appassito 2024

Boccantino Fiano Appassito is a refined and aromatic white wine from the sun-drenched vineyards of Salento in Puglia , southern Italy . Made using the traditional appassimento method, where a portion of the harvest is partially dried to concentrate sugars and intensify flavour, this is a wine of real aromatic depth and elegance. Why You'll Love It This is southern Italian white winemaking at its most characterful. The appassimento technique gives Boccantino Fiano a richness and intensity that sets it apart from everyday whites, while the Mediterranean terroir of Salento keeps it fresh, vibrant and beautifully balanced. Delicately off-dry with a long, lingering finish, it is as versatile at the table as it is enjoyable on its own. Vineyard and Production Grapes are grown in the sun-drenched vineyards of Salento, benefiting from the Mediterranean climate and well-drained soils that allow the fruit to achieve optimal ripeness. Only the best fruit is hand-harvested, with a portion then undergoing partial drying to concentrate sugars and intensify aromatics. Fermentation is carefully controlled to preserve the natural character of the Fiano grape, and the wine is partly aged in wooden barrels for three months, adding subtle complexity without masking the varietal freshness. Tasting Notes Elegant and expressive on the nose, with aromas of citrus, tropical fruits and almonds. The palate is fresh and aromatic with a delicate off-dry character, beautifully balanced acidity and a long, pleasant finish. A wine that rewards both the curious and the connoisseur. Perfect Pairings A natural partner for shellfish, soft cheeses, light seafood dishes and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. Also excellent as an aperitif or alongside a sharing board of antipasti. Zuccardi Los Olivos Chardonnay 2022

Zuccardi Los Olivos Chardonnay is a beautifully crisp and fresh white wine from the foothills of the Andes Mountains in the Uco Valley, Argentina. Named after the olive trees that have shared the Zuccardi vineyards since the 19th century, this wine showcases the purity and elegance of high-altitude Chardonnay with exceptional freshness and character. Why You'll Love It This is Uco Valley Chardonnay at its finest—crisp, fresh, and beautifully balanced. Olive trees first arrived in Argentina during the 19th century when they were brought by European immigrants, and they have shared the Zuccardi vineyards ever since, becoming as much a part of the family as the vines themselves. The result is a wine that combines the purity of high-altitude fruit with careful winemaking, offering exceptional freshness and approachability. Vineyard & Production Grapes are sourced from vineyards located at the foot of the Andes Mountains in the Uco Valley. The 2022 vintage benefitted from careful vineyard management and optimal harvest timing. Thanks to deep vineyard knowledge, precise parcel monitoring and hands-on observation, the team harvested each block at its optimal point of maturity. Direct pressing is followed by fermentation with selected yeasts at 13-15°C. A portion of the wine is aged in second and third-fill French oak barrels for 6 months to add texture and complexity. Tasting Notes This crisp and fresh Chardonnay opens with aromas of citrus, white fruit and subtle oak. The palate is beautifully balanced, showing bright fruit character with refreshing acidity and a touch of creamy texture from barrel ageing. The finish is clean, fresh and elegant. Perfect Pairings A versatile food wine, perfect with grilled fish, chicken, seafood pasta, fresh salads, or creamy dishes. Also excellent with white fish and light summer cuisine. The Blend 100% Chardonnay from Uco Valley, Argentina
