Vineyard & Production Fruit is sourced from select sites across the Western Cape, with each grape variety handled independently and fermentation tailored to its individual profile. Oak ageing is applied selectively to build structure and complexity, while concrete and amphorae contribute freshness and mouthfeel. La Crema Chardonnay Monterey 2022
La Crema Monterey Chardonnay is a sustainable, vineyard-certified wine that showcases the unique coastal terroir and climate of Monterey, California. Vinification Grapes were gently pressed and allowed to settle for 24 hours before racking to barrel for fermentation. The wine was aged on lees for 5–6 months, with monthly stirring to enhance texture and complexity. Winemaker comments On the nose, the wine displays aromas of grilled pineapple, Asian pear, tangerine, and papaya. The palate reveals flavours of white peach, Anjou pear, Key lime, and honeydew melon, complemented by subtle barrel spice and a hint of riverstone minerality.
