Bolney Estate English Garden Spritz NV

' Established in 1972, by Janet and Rodney Pratt, Bolney Wine Estate in West Sussex was one of the first, and remains one of the most beautiful, English wine estates. Janet and Rodney were pioneers. Guided by nature - the mild climate and the sandstone soil - they discovered the best varieties of grapes to grow in their eco-system. The team now produce award-winning still and sparkling wines from their famous Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris to classic sparkling Bolney Bubbly and Blanc de Blancs. The winery won UK Wine Producer of the Year in the International Wine and Spirit Competition in 2012. Since then, it was also presented with the title of Winery of the Year 2017 at the UK Wine Awards. The estate has continued to invest in specialist machinery and, in 2019, it opened a new state-of-the-art winery. With the ethos Guided by Nature since 1972, sustainability is at the heart of the winery's operations. This includes practicing responsible waste management, installing solar panels on the winery's roof and using bottles that are 100% recyclable. '

Earthsong Single Vineyard Dillons Point Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Earthsong Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant, mineral-driven white from a single regeneratively farmed vineyard at Dillon's Point in the lower Wairau Valley, Marlborough. Bursting with tropical fruit and passion fruit, with a subtle briny edge and crisp, lingering finish, this is New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc at its most expressive and most conscientiously made. Why You'll Love It Earthsong's philosophy is rooted in harmony with the land. The Dillon's Point vineyard is untilled, supported by extensive cover crops, and grazed by sheep over winter to naturally enrich the soil a genuinely regenerative approach that shows in the purity and intensity of the fruit. No oak, minimal intervention, and proximity to the ocean all contribute to a wine of real freshness and character. If you love Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, this is a single-vineyard step up worth taking. Vineyard & Production Sourced from a single Dillon's Point vineyard where vines are untilled and cover crops are extensive. Sheep graze the vineyard over winter, naturally enriching the soil, while shoot thinning during the growing season ensures optimal sun exposure and ripeness. Ocean proximity provides cooling night-time temperatures, preserving acidity and enhancing minerality. Fruit is harvested mechanically and gently cooled before fermentation in stainless steel, with maturation on fine lees in tank until bottling. Unoaked. Tasting Notes Lively tropical fruit aromas passion fruit, blackcurrant, and grapefruit on the nose. The palate is rich yet vibrant, with bright citrus notes, zesty acidity, and a delicate briny tang. The finish is crisp, clean, and mineral-driven. Perfect Pairings A natural match for seafood in all its forms. Excellent with sushi, sashimi, seafood dim sum, grilled fish, oysters, and prawn dishes. Also a great aperitif on its own. The Blend Sauvignon Blanc 100%
