Bolney Estate Gin

Bolney Wine Estates is considered as one of the pioneers of the English wine industry, with 50 years of experience under its belt. Located in the heart of rural Sussex, the first vines were planted in 1972 by Rodney and Janet Pratt, the parents of Sam Linter who now heads up the family business. Half a century later, Sam, together with her expert team, work throughout the year to ensure the vines are perfectly tended to yield the highest quality grapes. Bolney now produces an array of award-winning red, white, rose and sparkling English wines, as well as gin and vermouth. The winery won UK Wine Producer of the Year in the International Wine and Spirit Competition in 2012. Since then, it was also presented with the title of Winery of the Year 2017 at the UK Wine Awards. The estate has continues to invest in specialist machinery and, in 2019, it opened a new state-of-the-art winery. With the ethos Guided by Nature since 1972, sustainability is at the heart of the winery's operations. This includes practicing responsible waste management, installing solar panels on the winery's roof and using bottles that are 100% recyclable.

Glendalough Wild Botanical Irish Gin

Glendalough Wild Botanical Irish Gin is unlike any other gin in the world. To make it, Glendalough employs a full-time forager, Geraldine Kavanagh, who gathers wild botanicals from the Wicklow mountains all year round. Fresh botanicals arrive at the distillery within hours of foraging, where small-batch slow-distillation teases out their delicate flavours. The result is a gin that captures a year in every bottle, with four seasons of wild Wicklow foraging encapsulated in each release. Why You'll Love It This is a gin with genuine depth and meaning. The bottle itself tells the story: designed to look as though it has been picked from the Wicklow forest floor, it features a woven pattern at the base representing Geraldine's handwoven foraging basket, wild botanicals embossed around the glass, and reverent nods to Glendalough's ancient past including the monastery archway, seven churches, and deer stone. It is a secret map for those who know how to read it. International Gin of the Year at the 2023 Italian Gin Awards and Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition confirm its standing among the world's finest gins.
