Bolney Estate Pinot Noir 2022
'Pinot Noir grapes were cold-soaked prior to fermentation. Post Fermentation, the wine then underwent malolactic fermentation. A small portion of the wine was transferred to oak and matured prior to blending and filtration.'
Coto de Imaz Gran Reserva Rioja 2019
Coto de Imaz Gran Reserva is a refined and structured red from Rioja Alta, crafted primarily from Tempranillo with a small addition of Graciano to add complexity and freshness. Hand-picked from limestone-rich clay soils in Cenicero, this is Rioja Gran Reserva at its most considered and elegant. Why You'll Love It El Coto, founded in 1970, is one of Rioja's most respected producers, with over 730 hectares across Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa, and Rioja Oriental. Head winemaker Cesar Fernandez combines modern winery practices with meticulous grape handling to ensure quality and consistency across every release. The Gran Reserva represents the pinnacle of that commitment, spending a minimum of 18 months in French and American oak before a further 18 months of bottle refinement. The result is a wine of genuine depth and poise that rewards patience and attention. Vineyard and Production Grapes are hand-picked into 35kg crates, sorted, destemmed, and crushed before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 21 to 30 days, followed by malolactic fermentation in tank. The wine is then aged for a minimum of 18 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels, before a further 18 months of bottle refinement to achieve full complexity and balance. Tasting Notes Brilliant ruby with russet tones. The nose opens with ripe plums, cherries, toasted coconut, and leather, with earthy nuances adding depth. The palate is fruit-forward and structured, with red berries, dried fruit, subtle oak spice, silky tannins, and a long, persistent finish. Perfect Pairings Ideal alongside roasted or grilled meats, game, mature cheeses, and traditional Spanish dishes. Grape Varieties Tempranillo, Graciano
