Bombo Caramel and Coconut Rum Liqueur

Blended in Newquay, Cornwall by the Real Rum Company, Bombo Caramel & Coconut is a flavoured rum based drink combining the exotic flavours of coconut, caramel and Caribbean rum. A seductively smooth drink, with coconut on the nose to begin followed by the deeper smell of caramel. The palate is smooth and luscious, mouth coating with a hint of coconut on the finish. Drink on its own or over ice. The recipe is inspired by one of the oldest mixed rum drinks in the world originating from an 18th century pirate recipe where rum was mixed with sugar and spices. It was also known as Bumboo or Bumbo. This was to help disguise the rather rough taste of the rums being produced back in those days, thankfully a problem we don't have to contend with in this century! Bombo Rum is available in a further more varieties; Bombo Caramel & Banana , Bombo Caramel & Spices at 24% ABV plus Bombo Full On Caramel Caramel & Spices , Bombo Full On Caramel & Coconut and Bombo Full On Caramel & Banana at 40% ABV.
