Vineyard and Production Hand-harvested Grenache Blanc and Roussanne grapes from partner vineyards in Cairanne, including a Roussanne plot just 200 metres from the winery, are gently pressed and clarified by cold tank. The juice is fermented entirely in 300 to 400 litre oak barrels, a mix of new and four-year-old wood, chosen to enhance texture and natural character rather than impart strong oak flavours. The wine is aged in barrel for six months before filtration and bottling. Viticulture Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon vines are planted throughout their collection of southern Margaret River vineyards. The majority of Semillon comes from the Luminosa vineyard and Sauvignon Blanc from Rosa Brook Road vineyard.
