Boutinot Lieux Perdus is a delicate yet substantial Pinot Noir rose from the sun-drenched vineyards of the Languedoc . Dry and elegant, with enough body and flavour to keep you coming back glass after glass, this is a rose that evokes the freedom of sun-soaked Mediterranean escapes. The Lieux Perdus label was inspired by a collaboration with artist Timothy Birch to capture a sense of escapism and free-spirited living. It is a rose with a story, and the wine lives up to it: a Pinot Noir rose from the Languedoc is a rare and characterful thing, and this one delivers on every front. Vineyard and Production Grapes are sourced from vineyards near the Bassin de Thau and the village of Pezenas. The wine is made using the classic rose de presse method combined with white wine vinification techniques. Pinot Noir grapes are gently pressed to extract colour without tannins and fermented at cool temperatures to preserve delicate aromatics and freshness. Bottled under screwcap to maintain its vibrant character. Tasting Notes Pale, pretty pink in the glass, with aromas of fresh strawberries.
